Remove filter and fill syringe with 12cc of Filtered Wash ‘Juice’, replace filter and hose and inject ‘juice’ into printhead under slight pressure.

Draw 12cc of air into syringe, affix disc filter and hose and expel air into ink reservoir thru ink feed nipple.

Remove printhead and place on top of support/discharge waste cup so nozzles are free from obstruction.

Take note of flow direction on disc micro-filter. Do not inject un-filtered air or juice into head. Use extreme care not to spill solution or wet ink onto printhead electronics boards or connections. If only our "Triple-Filtered Juice" is used out of the container, there is no need to use the syringe disc filter. Use on ‘out of warranty’ heads only.īrother recommends the use of the Disc Filter to prevent injecting foreign particles into the Printhead.
